Hinterland Festival in Kells, Co. Meath
Great to take part in our first Literature Festival over the weekend in the very appropriately named ‘Hinterland Festival‘ in Kells, Co. Meath. We were there to introduce our recently launched book ‘Hello Hinterland‘ to the many local passers-by and enjoy some discussions of all things Hinterland, including their connections to the areas that the book features.
We set up shop outside Kells Credit Union in the centre of the town and met some lovely people over the weekend, including the Meath Kells Scouts, who were raising funds for a little boy called Milo, festival organiser Heather Hamill and Antonia Daly and her team from Antonia’s Bookstore, who kindly included our book Hello Hinterland in the festival pop-up bookshop.

Book Signing at Hodges Figgis in Dublin
It was nice to pop in to Hodges Figgis on Dawson Street today to sign copies of our newly launched poetry book Hello Hinterland.

Hello Hinterland is an illustrated poetry book, published by Choice Publishing, featuring a collection of illustrated Stories and Poetry, Rhymes, Observations and Folk Tales, celebrating the connections between culture and heritage in the wide and embracing landscape of Fingal County on the East Coast of Ireland.
Hello Hinterland Book Launch at Hodges Figgis, Dublin
Hodges Figgis recently hosted the launch of new Illustrative book, âHello Hinterlandâ, at the famous Dublin Bookstore, situated near Trinity college on Dawson Street.
Both Author Martin Holohan and Illustrator Clare Lynch read various Poems and Stories from the Volume to a very enchanted audience on the 1st Floor. Both Artists were indeed very comfortable throughout the Launch, cajoling the crowd along with tales that were always imaginative, displaying well rounded accounts of the Fingal countryside on the east coast of Ireland…a mere stones throw up from Dublin City. The event took place on April 28th 2022, on Poetry Day Ireland.
Hello Hinterland Book Launch Countdown
We are excited for the long-awaited launch event of the poetry book Hello Hinterland at Hodges Figgis on Dawson Street, Dublin 2 at 6pm this evening.
This book launch event has been postponed since last year due to the Covid-19 Corona virus lockdowns. We can’t believe the time has finally come to introduce Hello Hinterland to the world!
